The Think Tank will open up an unprecedented forum for discussion, collaboration and networking on business as mission, amongst practitioners and thought-leaders from around the world. In order to invigorate and strengthen this movement we aim to:

The mission of the Business as Mission Think Tank is to enrich and invigorate the business as mission movement, resulting in a significant increase in the quantity and quality of businesses and business people involved in God’s mission to the world — the whole church, taking the whole gospel, to the whole world.
We will accomplish this by providing an opportunity for a global assessment and listening process across geographic and interest-related boundaries; enabling practitioner-focused collaboration, shared learning and the formation of business-driven networks.
Mike is the Chief People Officer for EmployBridge, a US based staffing and employment company. He is also Executive Director of the IMED Inc., an international business as mission agency. Mike is the author of the book ‘Business as Mission: The Power of Business in the Kingdom of God’, 2006.
Sam serves as an Executive member of a global business as mission funding and consulting organization. He has worked in China as a business professor and as a business consultant. Sam co-ordinates the largest Korean BAM-related gathering, the International Business Alliance.
Decio is the Executive Director of COMIBAM, the Cooperacion Misionera Iberomaricana (Iberoamerican Missions Network). Decio has worked in Central Asia where he operated an IT services business. He is working on developing BAM vision, capacity and strategies in the COMIBAM region.
Julian is the Managing Partner of QQ a HR consulting company and the former Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Retail Institute. He is the Founder and Coordinator of the Kingdom Business Community, a marketplace ministry network in Indonesia with over 3,000 business owners and professionals.
João is the President of a Brazilian mission group and writes, teaches and lectures regularly on Business as Mission. He has been a pastor, church-planter and mission leader, and has also co-founded a Business as Mission Consultancy and two BAM businesses.
Jo has been writing and developing resources on business as mission for over 10 years. She launched www.businessasmission.com in 2004 and is Editor of the BAM e.zine. Jo served as the Facilitator for the first business as mission think tank process at the Lausanne Forum for World Mission, 2002 to 2004.
Mark is the Director of the Business as Mission Resource Team and of IBAM Training Initiatives. He has been involved in business as mission training and consulting for over 10 years. Mark mobilizes and coaches business people, students and those preparing to launch BAM initiatives.
David is the CEO of EDP Health, Safety and Environment Ltd. a company he founded in 1989. For over 35 years David has owned and led businesses in the UK and more recently in SE Asia. David is a business coach for various businesses in Asia and has started a foundation to support effective BAM practice.
Peter is the founder and CEO of a global investment fund with a portfolio of business as mission initiatives in the Arab world and Asia. He travels extensively, interacting with some of the most cutting edge examples of BAM across the world. Peter regularly speaks and consults on BAM internationally.
Mats is the Senior Associate on Business as Mission for both the Lausanne Movement and World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission. Mats is a regular speaker and writer on business as mission and Convened the Lausanne business as mission think tank in 2002 to 2004.
Joseph is the Managing Director of Olive Technology Limited, an IT company with offices in the USA and India. As well as seeking to integrate business and mission in his own life and business, Joseph also regularly writes, speaks and consults on business as mission.
Tony has been in the Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Industry for over 20 years, and is the Managing Director of his company, with offices currently in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. Tony has also published two books on holistic mission.
